Many potholes, likely to cause damage

Large potholes on slip road. Been a problem for at least 6 months

  • Thank you for making your report about the potholes. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we’ve processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired.

    We're putting together a patching/ resurfacing programme for this location. We're sorry as we don't have any dates of when this work will go ahead at the moment.

    We have placed warning signs in this location so drivers are aware of the uneven road surface.

  • Several large potholes on slip road. This is causing people to drive into the a303 before end of slip road and will cause accident

  • No signage. Absolute disgrace; multiple potholes have been present for months. Most over 6ft long at least a foot wide and deep with sharp edges. So dangerous they present a risk to life and it is inexcusable they have not been emergency patched.

  • Thank you for your further reports to the Fix My Street Website. We understand the Solstice slips both Eastbound and Westbound are in poor condition.

    We've been working on getting a scheme programmed for this summer. Works on the Eastbound slips are currently scheduled for 15, 16 and 19 August and works for the Westbound slips are scheduled for 20, 21, and 22 August 2024.

    We'll be sending out communication shortly with diversions and exact details of what time these slips will be closed.
