Excess clay based mud on road

House building on Arundel Road. Construction vehicles that exit Arundel Rd onto the A27 west of Arundel Rd leave an enormous amount of mud on the A27, which is dangerous as traffic heading west do so at speed down Hammerpot hill which significantly increases collision hazards.

    Our inspector has observed mud on the carriageway though not to an extent that it causes a safety issue. We will continue to monitor during our regular safety inspections and will take further action as required.
