Underpass damaged

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5752099.

It looks like some concrete has come off the wall inside the underpass, a couple of rebars are visible.

  • Thank you for your report of 22 March 2024 about concrete crumbling on this underpass. We understand your concerns and appreciate the time you’ve taken to contact us about this.

    After investigating your enquiry, we can advise that we’ve attended this location to inspect the concrete. On 28 March, we removed any loose concrete from the bridge. We’ve scheduled in a special inspection to investigate this issue, and assess any defects. This is accompanied with the recommendation of more frequent inspections on this structure, until the structure is repaired.
