Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5747866.

All lights are out on the roundabout near the novotel called in by northumbria police - NCC not responsible for this area.

  • Traffic lights been out of sync since Tuesday causing 30 minute tailbacks all the way back up Ponteland Road.

  • Light sequence on roundabout changed Tuesday, causing significant tailbacks up Ponteland Road and as such also Kenton Lane and Etal Lane at busy periods.

  • Thank you for your report.

    We can confirm that we have remotely put the junction back onto MOVA, (Microprocessor Optimised Vehicle Actuation), which means it should be running as usual.

    We will continue to monitor the junction to make sure the fault doesn’t persist. The signals are currently working as they should be.
