Gates open both sides of carriageway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5743159.

I have just reported this problem but realised I didn't click on the right spot on the map Gates are open on both sides of the carriageway which can easily be accessed by vehicles. Potential to turn into oncoming traffic on the motorway. They need to be securely padlocked ASAP

    We've reported this to our maintenance team and control room. We can advise that these gates are to remain closed but not locked. A maintenance crew have checked the gates today which are now closed.
