Open cracks in road, large potholes.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 09:23, Tuesday 19 March 2024

Sent to National Highways 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5735265.

The road surface on the A453 Queens Drive parallel to Meadows way is very damaged on both sides of the road. There are large, wide potholes that are causing cars to swerve around them and move over lane boundaries. The previous patches to fix have warped, causing an uneven and extremely bumpy road surface northbound. There are also large open cracks between the two lanes going northbound on the A453 parallel to Dunsil Drive before Riverside Way. This makes changing lanes difficult in a car, and dangerous for motorcycles who's wheels can easily get caught in these cracks. This has been an issue for at least 6 months, with damage getting worse with the recent the flooding.
