Large deep pothole on northbound right hand side a few hundred metres before Priestgate bridge.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 12:19, Sunday 17 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5725419.

Road appears to have sunken about 4 ft wide leaving very deep pothole that you don’t see until the last minute. Went over it about 60mph resulting in large bang on drivers side, sufficiently severe that I felt the need to pull off the road at the first opportunity to check that tyres were still inflated and that there were no visible signs of damage to suspension or wheels.
