Faded white lines indicating lanes

Reported via mobile in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 09:23, Saturday 16 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5721419.

Both myself and my partner drive this way to work everyday, and nearly everyday we are cut up due to the lanes being faded on the ground leading to the M5. From the tunnel, both middle and right lane can lead to the M5 northbound (after exit, middle should go to the outside lane, then the right lane fades into the second lane) - however most drivers are not going from middle to outside lane, making them nearly hit those in the RH lane heading northbound. I feel this needs to be addressed immediately, as there will be a day in poor conditions where a bigger incident may ensue. This has been a problem for over two years now and accidents are bound to happen with the lack of clarity on road markings.
