Damaged road surface

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 09:25, Thu 7 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5680024.

Between White Hart Beefeater and Guestling primary school, issues been present for as long as I can remember, just deteriorating more as time goes on and whenever the rain comes down.

1) Approaching Guestling primary school from White Hart Beefeater, 2 rough patches that my car clatters over every morning, despite reducing my speed according to the road condition, one on the approach to the school, one slightly further back and another deep hole somewhere on the hill just past the beefeater (I drive over this road at 3.30am ish so hard to pinpoint where the hole is but I’ve hit it every morning this week)

2) In the other direction approaching the beefeater heading away from the primary school, another 2 rough patches approaching the part of the the hill where vehicles can overtake…

3) Now the part of the hill where vehicles can overtake others is where things get dangerous…multiple holes, some that cause cars to veer over, yesterday (6/3/24) a car overtook me on this hill and multiple loose bits of tarmac flicked up against my car, surely this is a skid hazard, especially in wet conditions, dangerous enough for cars/vans but I’m glad I’m not on 2 wheels’
