A1/A69 roundabout faded lane markings
Reported via mobile in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 20:11, Tue 5 March 2024
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5673738.
Lane markings faded. Cars swerving from lane to lane almost causing accidents. Unless you have local knowledge drivers can't tell which lane they need to be in. Has been like this for years and needs addressing. The last two days I've nearly had accidents from people swapping lanes due to no markings.

Driving towards the A69 from callerton, th roundabout has 2 lanes. I use th right hand lane to go straight over to enter th A69 West. Th near misses I've had with people using th left hand lane to go straight over. Surely left hand lane should b marked only for those entering the A69 east/ Newcastle. And the right hand lane to go straight over. I'm sure it needs putting right before an accident happens. ?
