Sunken drain covers

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 14:26, Mon 26 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5633541.

At the Markeaton Island southbound there are drain covers that are badly sunk. This is dangerous for motorcyclists like myself and needs attention as soon as possible before a bad accident happens to someone. If a motorbiker is unaware of this and hits one at 30mph + whilst banking for the roundabout, they are very likely to come off. I'd be surprised if this hasn't happened before, these cover have been like this for some time.
