Road surface damage

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5629062.

The road surface between bent gate and the turn off for the industrial estate is full of large potholes and areas where large parts and significant stretchs off it have gone. Though some of it sits between lane one and two its now spreading into the carriageway across both lanes. Dangerous on a NSL road if you were to hit one of these sections.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have works planned to repair road defects on the A56 (Tesco's to Carrs Industrial Estate). We'll be delivering these works within the next few weeks.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
