Absolute joke

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5617235.

It took me 1 hour to drive from the shovels to the roundabout this morning. At which point I gave up turned around and went via the toll bridge. I am a nurse and have patients to visit. It is not only impacting my own life but could jeopardise the safety and lives of others. No warning at all that this was happening. Unable to get any clear answers as to why and quite frankly a seriously dangerous situation for all residents over wyre. Imagine if that was an ambulance or GP trying to get through. Disgusting and needs to be sorted asap. We’ve put up with this for YEARS now and tolerated it to a point but this is beyond a joke and you are putting people at risk.

This has been ongoing and the bypass was meant to help but has been nothing but a nuisance for the residents of over wyre. This needs to be looked at seriously at the impact and risk which you are putting people at.
