Sunken trench across the road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5610551.

Road has been dug up by workers there and partially filled in across A47 in both directions. Trench badly filled in going East bound causing huge thud to car even though doing less than speed limit. Seen reports online of causing damage to cars. No warning in place to alert drivers of this awful trench.

  • More cars having alloys and tyres damaged due to at least a 4 inch drop 12 inch wide trench across both lanes that hasn’t even been attempted to be filled in properly on a major road .

  • Huge tench in road by Honingham roundabout , very dangerous. Caused by the roadworks, needs filling immediately. Hit it at less than 30 mph last night and shook whole car, reports of cars with blown tyres. Very hazardous for motorbikes .
