Please Fix Chevons My Car nearly crashed here
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5606835.
The Roadworks on the junction can you please remove the chevons because i nearly crashed of confusion and paint small chevons were the 5 traffic cones are, remove them and paint them were i said, and remove the 40 aswell,

Thank you for your report on the National Highways Fix My Street website on 20 February 2024 regarding temporary traffic management on the junction 66 roundabout just off the A1 carriageway. We apologise for any confusion caused by the road markings and signage on the A1 Birtley to Coal House scheme.
Thank you for reporting this on the Fix My Street website. We have passed your concerns to the Traffic Management team and the onsite Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO), who patrols the scheme and its diversion routes regularly both during the day and night. Part of their duty is to ensure that signage is clean and clear and monitor the condition of the traffic management. Any changes that the team find necessary, will be carried out.
