Failed surface/pothole

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 19:16, Monday 19 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5601483.

Westbound A40 massive pothole, 6”+ deep by 2 foot long outside Longlea. Pothole existed for years with substandard repairs as now large issue. Reported via call centre on Friday as considered dangerous and would be dealt with as a priority but surprise surprise no repairs undertaken. Does anybody actually read these reports as looking at the previous reports on this issue they all seem to be ignored
