A49 lighting

Reported via desktop in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 17:16, Monday 19 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5600956.

Several lantern columns along this stretch and the Greyfriars bridge are in a poor state, 2 lamps on the bridge have been missing for over 4 years and several lanterns on Victoria Street are cracked, daylight burning or otherwise very tatty rusting and even look a health hazard of obstruction meaning could fall into the carriageway presenting serious safety risk as well as an unpleasent welcoming on the exclusive core route into and out of Hereford crossing north /south of the river wye.

When will this be looked into and dealt with as I have raised the matter many times before to no avail which is not good.

Please can I have an update on this.

Thank you
