Uneven road surface

The road surface on lanes one and two from junction 23 to 21a is disintergrating. Large patches of uneven surface are causing drivers to swerve to try and avoid damaging their cars. This issue has been getting progressively worse for months. In places the road is almost undrivable.

  • Thank you for making your report. The M6 j21a/26 upgrade scheme are monitoring the condition of the road surface and are carrying out reactive repairs to potholes. A full resurfacing scheme has been designed and this will take place in the coming months.
