Broken Road Surface, small potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5595274.

Travelling on the A12 North I noticed the broken road surface and numerous small potholes along the stretch which is the Witham by pass. Due to a recent incident which damaged the car I was driving I had to reduce speed and change direction to avoid some of the poorer areas of road surface.

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the road surface condition on the A12 at Witham. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
