Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us.

We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we have processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.

This pothole was filled in on Sunday 18 February. A permanent repair was due to be carried out this week. Timescales do vary as we try to combine activities into single road closures.

If you require any further information, please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@nationalhighways.co.uk, or visit our website at www.nationalhighways.co.uk.
