Missing street lights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5582045.

To the east of the junction there are two street lights missing and all the other do not work. This is a very dangerous junction and needs as much light around this area for safety reasons.

  • Thank you for making your report. The streetlighting in this area are extremely old technology and is increasingly expensive to maintain. Because of this the A47 has been included in a nationwide scheme to upgrade the lights to LED technology. At present the scheme is in the planning stage. More information can be seen on the National Highways website.
