Pothole and Road Surface

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 17:07, Wed 14 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5577641.

Road surface is very badly cracked which has led to multiple potholes and is now subsiding. Even negotiating it at a standstill is dangerous and can cause damage to a vehicle. Location is in the right hand lane as you exit the dual carriageway to get onto the roundabout which either takes you to Lichfield or onto the A38 northbound.

  • Thank you for making your report. We asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. There is a resurfacing scheme due in this area in Autumn. Until then we'll make any potholes safe for the travelling public when we monitor the area on our weekly inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

    Kind regards National Highways
