Consideration of Noise Barriers and / or Tree Planting

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 13:08, Sunday 11 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5561352.

There have been various works carried out on this busy stretch of motorway including a solid concrete central reservation and changes to the road surface material.

It would seem that increased road and traffic noise has potentially correlated with this.

Could serious consideration please be given to the installation of sound barriers and / or a scheme of tree planting in order to mitigate the effect of noise from the motorway network on the adjoining properties?
