Temp Matrix sign protruding into carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 19:09, Sat 10 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5559594.

A180 Eastbound, towards Grimsby, NE Lincolnshire. I used this road earlier today and there was a temporary matrix sign ( mounted on a trailer) positioned in the lay-by before the Stallingborough Interchange. Although the trailer itself was off the carriageway the upper part of the equipment ( looked like a flat roof but I assume it was a solar panel array) protruding into the carriageway , approximately 1-2 feet. It was not easy to see because it was in a horizontal plane and is a collision hazard for large vehicles. Thanks.
