Over grown hedging blocking use of verge.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5554710.

The vegetation has grown up to the road (pub side) and so we can’t cross the road and walk on the verge. Also, the vegetation is blocking view of road when crossing from pub side to The Street.

  • Thank you for your report. Our inspector has visited this location and confirmed there’re no site line issues at this junction currently, and the verge will be cut back under our cyclic maintenance programme in the spring. We recommend using the footpath on the opposite side of the road rather than the roadside verge, or alternatively the new cycle/footway nearby from the junction to the pub and garage.
