Pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5552275.

Just as you come off the A2 to bear left the is a huge pothole on the left hand side of lane 1. There is also debris in lane one from the pothole. Noticed today.

I have a flat tyre as a result of this. Could I be supplied with a contact for compensation?

  • This port hole was repaired previously but has opened up again to the same deep size it was before. It’s exceptionally dangerous for anyone. Please fix it properly. Filling it back in didn’t work last time.

  • This huge pothole burst my tyre on Friday. I got an immediate puncture and managed to get to safety because I had a run flat tyre but it cost me over £100 to repair same day which I didn’t have to spare but had to choice to pay. The ca in front of me swerved. This is an incredibly dangerous spot and needs to be fixed ASAP. How do I get compensation for this?

    Our team attended the site and carried out remedial work to repair the pothole. Further resurfacing work is planned for this section of the A2 over the next few months.
