Anti-pigeon netting and lighting. A27 Bridge over the B2148 – North St, Emsworth

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5535004.

Please advise what plans you have to replace the netting under the A27 road bridge where it crosses the B2148 (North St, Emsworth). The pigeon infestation is rapidly increasing since this netting was removed. Secondly, what plans do you have for repairing the lighting under this bridge. It is currently a hazardous area for pedestrians after dark. I see the lighting issue was reported a while back, but the work is still outstanding. I look forward to hearing from you.

    We currently have no plans to reinstate the pigeon netting, this may be something we look at in the future.
