Poor road condition and worn markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5528856.

This is a known dangerous junction. The filter lane markings have worn away, and the road condition here is awful, particularly southbound past the junction with marley way and adjacent to the layby. This area is known for flooding and surface water and the poor lighting road surface and markings are an accident waiting to happen - except they keep happening.

    We're aware of safety concerns at the junction with Marley Lane and as part of our A21 safety package works we have already made improvements to the junction by increasing visibility and the installation of vehicle activated signage. We will be returning to refresh road studs and lining. We carry out regular safety inspections when any safety concerns are reported for mitigation.
