New Access Point Created and Commercial Use of existing access to field

A field at the corner of the A550 and school lane has been sub divided. A new access point has been created in a section of the hedge/fence to allow access to a section of the field and an existing access is being used for frequent commercial purposes. The increased access frequency and the use of the pavement as a car park at an accident black spot is causing a potential danger to users of the A550 and visibility blind spots for those entering the A550 from Heath Lane. The issue has been ongoing for 7-10 days

  • Updated information - We've been advised Cheshire West and Chester Council has issued a Stop Work notice on the developer. This is in place until 27 February. If you notice any further activity on site, please contact the local authority.
