Offensive graffiti on underneath of bridge

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 09:56, Thu 1 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5518519.

The M3 runs over Highams Lane, Chobham, where Windlesham Road becomes Highams Lane and, coming from me, Woodlands Lane is on the left and Valley End Road is on the right (ie past the school) and then there is the motorway bridge. On one of the concrete sides of the motorway bridge someone has sprayed “the king is a pedo” (sic). Is it possible to get this removed, please

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection. Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and can take much longer.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
