Pathway on bridge

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 12:52, Sun 4 February 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5509548.

The bridge path has become impassable due to a drop-down in the road that is flooded, making it impossible to walk through. The situation is particularly challenging during the nighttime when the dark path poses a safety risk. Without the implementation of adequate lighting and proper drainage, it is recommended that the path be closed to the public to avoid potential hazards and ensure public safety.
