Multiple lights not working

Reported via mobile in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 22:09, Sun 28 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5503019.

Was driving on the M2 eastbound this evening and noticed that All lights between the Junction 4 (1/2 mile) sign and Junction 4 were off.

I appreciate your comments saying you will look at LEDs etc as part of a project this year however this appears (to my untrained eye) to be a cable fault or something like that.

Can you have a look?

Updates

  • We are aware that multiple lights are not working from the M25 along the A2 west and M2. We have a national LED replacement scheme, and this route is under the design phase currently. All luminaires along this route are expected to be replaced in stages later this year. We’re currently reviewing options on how to bring some of the street lighting back up where possible. Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work required to rectify the issue. Kind Regards
