Potholes, uneven surface

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5498573.

Both North and South bound lane 1 and 2, both have many holes, indentations, pot holes - inline with previous road markings before road was widened. In several places between Ashton and Warrington, particularly difficult around haydock. We travel Mon, Tues, Thurs and Saturday each week on this route. It does look like some have been repaired but it is still deteriorating - I've particularly noticed this on the last two week.

  • Thank you for making your report about the carriageway at junction 23 of the M6, both north & southbound, lanes 1 and 2.

    We'll be carrying out resurfacing areas of the carriageway at this location. We have full carriageway closures scheduled for mid-February when we're looking to programme this work.
