Multiple potholes just before heading into Icklesham from Winchelsea (both sides of the road though)

Very rough, rapidly deteriorating road surface with multiple recently developed potholes as you head into Icklesham from Winchelsea (both sides of the road in same section though )

I believe the wear and tear on my car from driving over this patch of road where any attempted repair over the last 12 months consisted of multiple poorly filled holes that soon returned once the weather turned, twice a day, 6 days a week led to me spending £600 on suspension repairs over just 3 months, how do I go about claiming for this?

  • Road deteriorated even more because of the weather this week! Also still awaiting to hear about how to claim for the damage this section of road has caused to my vehicle over time (I’ve been reporting this to you and East Sussex Highways since 2023, however after a long, lengthy dragged out rejected claims and appeal process through East Sussex Highways they’re now telling me this section or Road is National Highways responsibility)
