Sign missing

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 10:11, Wed 24 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5484149.

Initial 30mph speed limit sign on westbound carriageway is missing (blown away/blown over) presumably due to heavy/severe winds. No sign on westbound carriageway showing reduction from 50mph to 30mph in average speed camera zone until 30mph sign that is directly in front of average speed camera.

Updates

  • The signs are still missing on the approach to the speed restricted area and speed camera. This gives road users no opportunity to reduce their speed to the speed limit until under the speed camera in the dark.
