Potholes and road surface defects.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5465244.

Eastbound exit slip road at junction 18 has potholes as you leave main motorway carriageway and surface is breaking up in more than on place.

  • Brige on burnley road huncoat/hapton under slip raod joining m66 with m65.there is most of the time large amount of water standing under the bridge. We have to drive through the water which is not good for vehicles. It is maintenance problem. When a lot of gullies are not cleaned round this spot then us people suffer from driving through the water which is not good for vehicles . Needs a prompt response.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
