Old London Road / Tesco Underpass

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 11:49, Mon 15 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5444729.

The underpass is regularly defaced with graffiti, much of it offensive. The art department at Suffolk One college has recently undertaken a project in Ipswich town, producing an impressive mural decorating the now disused BHS store - https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/ news/ 23810657.ipswich-bhs-store-decorated-mural-wolsey-550/ The college art department has been contacted to ask if the students would be interested in undertaking a similar project at the Teso/A14 underpass; they have responded very positively. We are therefore asking for your permission for the art strudents to produce / paint a mural on the Tesco / Copdock Interchange underpass. I'm aware that a similar project was undertaken at the Church Lane/A14 underpass at Sproughton, which the then Parish Council and Primary School were involved with.
