Significant potholes

There is significant potholes for a very long stretch of the exit slip road. Just as you begin heading left the road is down to the base level as all the road surface has eroded away across 2 lanes, there is then a further very deep hole that is impossible to see in wet weather. Continuing to the traffic lights there is a further set of eroded road to base level. This was reported in the summer and still not been fixed. Replace all the surface from the traffic lights up the hill to the bends. This will last several years and ensure you don't have to keep returning to fix the same problem time after time wasting time effort and money.

Thank you for your report of 15 January 2024 to explain that there are potholes along this section of the Strategic Road Network. We understand your concerns and appreciate the time you’ve taken to contact us about this.
After investigating your enquiry, we can advise that we’re aware of this issue and currently have ‘uneven road surface’ signage set in this location. We’re currently finalising a scheme which seeks to address the issue you’ve reported. We’re looking to complete resurfacing in this location by the end of February 2024, but are unable to confirm an exact date as we wait for these to be confirmed.
We’re hopeful this will improve the experience of motorists using this exit of the A1.
