A newly placed manhole cover between 89 and 91 derby road That is causing large vehicles to bounce.

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 10:51, Sunday 14 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5440026.

There has been an inadequate placement of "grill" / manhole cover placed over the past year this has been bought to your attention by 89 and 91 derby road. It causes HGV and lorries to bounce which was never ther before leading to large vibration causing structural damage to housing. Unfortunately it has not been addressed and the only next option would have to be legal action with regards to the strucrtual damage caused. As National Highways have not even responded with regards to the problem.
