Excessively degraded road surface, becoming dangerous at normal traffic speed.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category by Dr. Peter Oxberry at 01:38, Sat 13 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5436421.

Surface on this roundabout is now very badly degraded, and with potholes of various sizes now evident, especially on the egress to South Lawn Way. It has now become dangerous to travel over this roundabout (the northern one on this interchange) at a normal speed. National Highways has been informed many times now of the rapid deterioration of this interchange as a whole, not just this northern roundabout. I believe you have already had an inspection crew assessing the problems on the interchange since I reported the severe rutting on the westbound slip road to the A63 (mid November 2023). So why no remedial action?...not even any temporary infilling!! Don't leave it until there's an accident. The surface continues to degrade and crumble on a daily basis. And will only accelerate with freezing weather. An explanation as to why no remedial work yet would be greatly appreciated, preferably posted on here in "updates". Thanking you in advance for a speedy reply.
