Graffiti in the High Pitfold A3 Underpass

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 13:53, Fri 12 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5434374.

There is a large amount of graffiti in the underpass, some of it offensive. We walk our young children to school through this underpass, it would be appreciated if you could remove the graffiti. This underpass has been left to decay since the new A3 was built, the vegetation is very ugly and overgrown as a result, can this also be attended to please. I understand Waverley Borough Council are responsible for the littering and horse manure so have reported that issue separately.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection. Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and can take much longer.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
