A2 near junction with Bean London bound. Pothole or broken tarmac.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5401944.

The road surface is very uneven. Potholes are appearing. Tarmac sinking. When I drive over it at 70mph it’s dangerous.

  • Thank you for your report. Our team have attended the location and can confirm there are no current safety defects. We can also confirm a resurfacing project for this location is expected to take place from February 2024. We appreciate that the timescales may not be as soon as our customers would like, however I can reassure you we plan to rectify any road surface issues during this upcoming scheme. In the meantime, our team will continue to monitor the area during our weekly inspections and raise jobs for any urgent remedial work if required.
