Sitting water on road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 18:17, Wednesday 3 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5389445.

Over Christmas, I’m very surprised that no one was killed on this stretch of road. The amount of sitting water was unbelievable, sitting across 2 lanes in some places. It was like hitting a brick wall. Especially when, if drainage was properly installed at the time of building these roads, this would never of happened. Fields galore either side of the main road, & even a canal. Please sort things out, before someone is killed. Thanks Thomas Smith
