Dropped metalwork

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 08:10, Thursday 4 January 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5387490.

Between Wilmington and Polegate junctions on eastbound carriageway of the A27, there are multiple dropped drain covers both large and smalll, some with at least 4” sharp edge whole cover drop likely to cause wheel / tyre damage because they are on direct path of normal near-side wheels. The noise pollution for local houses is terrible and there is an obvious accident risk if a tyre or wheel is damaged. This has been a growing issue over the past month or so.
