Lights Work on Occasion

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5380903.

A number of street lights occasionally are on but mostly off and we are left in pitch black. Have complained several times but case keeps being closed down but issue not resolved. Not safe for people walking in the dark. Please address this problem as it has been going on for months.

  • Thank you for your report. We’re currently aware there’re street lighting issues on the A259 at this location. As this is a reporting tool, the previous report was acknowledged and closed. At present, investigations are still ongoing as the fault maybe related to a wider UK power network issue within the area.

    Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of the fault and the resolution required.

    Please be assured we’ll look to resolve this issue as soon as it is possible.
