Rough sleepers camping on roundabout causing hazzard crossing road

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 17:26, Sun 31 December 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5372591.

A sizable camp of rough sleepers has again established itself on the northern side of the Langstone round-a-bout. Campers wandering across the round-a-bout to get between Havant and their camp cause a considerable danger, both to themselves and to the unsuspecting motorists, particularly as some appear to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol. The camp is also less than 100 m from the junior school. The lack of any sanitation and the growing community of rough sleepers poses a considerable risk to the young children as well as the local residents who use the adjacent footpath and footbridge adjacent to the round-a-bout.
