Pothole across outside lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5372359.

Large lateral pothole across outside lane. A14 westbound between J36 and J35, directly underneath pylon cables. Appears to be where previous repair has taken place. Road condition in this area is also very poor. This follows previous report 5369638, having been able to identify the exact location during daylight.

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the pothole and road surface condition on the A14. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location assess the issue and carry out remedial repairs.

    PLEASE NOTE: The A14 from junction 35 to 37 (both sides) is to be resurfaced in February 2024

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
