Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5363352.

The closed section of Garstang rd A585 is supposed to be blocked off to traffic. The cones do not stop vehicles using this, now a pedestrian area . It makes it unsafe . Today I have seen young people in ‘boy racer’ cars and at a different time two pony and traps racing full pelt. The same ones that used the new bypass before it was opened! ( reported to Kier) . It is a very ‘tempting space’ to ‘play’ on or park, we ( as a Parish Council) have requested before that this is secured for the safety of residents. This has not been done . The road has been closed for only a week.
