Yellow/orange SOS and green escape signs not illuminated

Several SOS signs and several escape route signs not lit north bound in Hindhead Tunnel. Would be seriously dangerous if people were stuck in the tunnel in darkness

    Occasional faults do occur in some units over time. We plan to address these during the upcoming tunnel maintenance closure scheduled toward the end of January 2024.

    We're presently upgrading the main lighting in both the Northbound and Southbound Bores, We'll expedite our Maintenance and Repair contractor's visit to assess and rectify these faulty items promptly.
