Pothole.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5343492.

Quite deep pothole on hard shoulder which is currently being used as lane 1, due to roadworks. Pothole is westbound between juction 19 exit and junction. 19 entry slip road. Pothole is on viaduct.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we’ve processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.
